One Million Pre-Registrations on TapTap

Lord of Mysteries crossed 1,000,000 TapTap reservations in March — a major milestone confirmed on the official Lord of Mysteries IP portal — with the count still climbing ahead of launch.

Lord of Mysteries passed one million pre-registrations on TapTap in March 2026 — first reported by CN financial press in early March and confirmed in an official announcement on Yuewen’s Lord of Mysteries portal on March 27.

Why the number matters

TapTap reservations are the standard pre-launch temperature check for Chinese mobile-capable titles, and a seven-figure count before the second beta puts Lord of Mysteries firmly in top-tier-launch territory. It ranked among TapTap’s most-reserved upcoming games going into 2026 — remarkable for a game that had shown almost no raw gameplay until January’s Tingen trailer.

The IP tailwind is real: the source novel is one of the most-read Chinese web novels ever (and a global phenomenon in translation), and the 2025 anime adaptation put the setting in front of a worldwide audience just as the game ramped up marketing.

Pre-registering yourself

CN players reserve on TapTap; international players can register interest through the official global site while awaiting a global announcement. Our pre-registration guide lists every official channel — and which “official-looking” ones to avoid.
