A Lord of Mysteries Player Sat Down and Ended Up Under Tingen

A September 6 player report shows a character still seated below Tingen's map after a bench interaction went wrong, with the city overhead and the interface intact.

Taking a seat in Lord of Mysteries gave one player a view of Tingen from underneath. In a September 6 post on X, LOTM Universe says a bench interaction sent their character below the map, where they kept falling. The accompanying screenshots show the character still holding a seated pose, with pale fragments of the city overhead.

The bench itself is nowhere in sight. The character has kept the posture, bent knees and all, despite the apparent absence of anything to sit on. Around them, the normal game interface carries on displaying quests, abilities and the minimap.

LOTM Universe posted four images with the report. The wider shots show blue space around the character and map geometry above them. A closer side view makes the missing ground easier to see. The final image is a portrait of the same bespectacled character against the pale background.

The images capture the aftermath of the reported bench interaction. They do not show the initial fall or establish how long it lasts.

The minimap still identifies 廷根 (Tingen) and displays the numbers 936 and 1033 in the three gameplay shots. The character is level 69, with SAN 97 on the lower interface. Those readouts stay visible even when the street has disappeared from the character’s immediate surroundings.

The same game that asks players to perform gestures for companion affection can apparently produce a much stranger result from a quiet sit-down. In this report, the character looks composed enough to be waiting for a conversation while the camera looks up at the underside of the city.

LOTM Universe’s post does not identify the client version, explain how to reproduce the incident, or show the character getting back onto the street.
