The beta-era PC specs made headlines in China for one number: 32 GB of RAM — as the minimum. Here’s the full picture, plus important context about why the launch requirements will likely look friendlier.

Context that matters

• These specs shipped with an explicit disclaimer: the Crimson Test was a technical test of an unoptimized build, with performance work ongoing. Beta minimums for UE5 titles routinely land higher than launch minimums.
• The 32 GB RAM minimum drew enough community heat that it’s a safe bet the optimization pass targets it directly. Treat it as “what the beta needed,” not “what launch will need” — but if you’re speccing a new machine for this game, 32 GB is the no-regrets choice anyway.
• No Mac support in testing.

Mobile

The Grey Fog Test (June 2026) ran on Android and iOS with cross-play, but official minimum device requirements haven’t been published. Practical observations from CN test coverage: recent flagship and upper-mid-range chips are the sensible expectation for a UE5 open-world title, and the App Store listing exists (it’s where the reported November 1 date came from). The beta asked for 80–90 GB free on PC — in line with modern UE5 open-world MMOs. Expect the mobile client to be dramatically smaller with streamed assets, per standard practice for cross-platform CN titles.
